Overview
Edeleen is a partner in the Corporate Real Estate practice group. She holds a law degree from South Bank University, London and Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP). She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of High Court of Malaya in 2001. She commenced practice with Messrs Albar & Partners as a conveyancing lawyer prior to setting up Lavinia, Dell Akbar, Tee & Partners.
She specialises in real estate property related transactions including land developments (commercial, residential and mixed development), various types of property conveyancing and property financing matters. She has dealt and advised broad scope of clients from individuals to corporations including financiers, developers, real estate investments, the Housing Ministry of Malaysia, state linked companies and not to mentioned government linked companies. Her strength is in advising joint ventures for land development, acquisition and disposal of various types of real properties, sales and commercial leasing, property management and land related issues.
She has also handled matters related to land issues for both landed and strata titles properties, residential and commercial lands and buildings and shopping malls.
She has represented financiers for property related transaction such as project financing and end financing for developer’s project including conventional, islamic loans and business/commercial loans.
Apart from real estate, Edeleen also handles a range of corporate transactions including joint ventures involving companies from various industries as well as corporate debt restructuring.
